So I know that it's only the middle of February, but we're all ready for spring at our house. It's been sunny and warm, and we were able to dig out the swings today, which are hours of fun for Owen and Macey on most days. The dogs soaked up some rays and caught a few winks, and I pulled some weeds and planted some seeds! Yes, a little premature, but I'm always amazed at how well some of the hardiest weeds do here throughout the whole winter. Now that a few of our warm spots are free of snow and have workable soil, I got excited and thought that maybe some spinach and carrots could do well too. It's one of my yearly challenges - to see how early I can plant something that actually produces. We'll see in about two months.
