The most recent epic novel series that we've begun in our house is The Adventures of Captain Underpants. It's been such a hit that we experience regular re-enactments which includes slinging underwear across the room at each other and using "wedgie power." This has also resulted in many attempts to tug at the back of one another's pants. Yes, we are a very sophisticated household.
Last year in Grace's first grade class, the students loved that series so much that they would fight over it! The teacher had to take the books off the shelf and pick and choose who would be allowed to read it.
