Last weekend we picked up a new dining room table that I found on Craigslist. It needs a little TLC, so we started by scrubbing, which wasn't so bad since yesterday was a beautiful day.
Todd found the fish glue... he's really getting into these Omega-3s...
...and it worked great for filling in some of the cracks. The day started off today as promising. Todd and I began to seal the table and chairs, and were really pleased with the new look, when it started to snow. We found out quickly that wet Shellac and water don't mix well to create a nice finish. So, as usual, our project has been prolonged, expanded, a pain in the you know what. We really don't need anymore snow.
